Celebrities Fashion in Emmy’s 2015
As the Emmy’s red carpet sizzled, the stars still managed to keep their cool and remained composed and crease-free on the red carpet.
The highlights of the night were, of course, the look of the stars who styled themselves by playing with colors and chains.
Claire Danes, the star of Homeland, wore a Prada dress in blue sequin; meanwhile, Scandal’s lead star, Kerry Washington, looked good in a silver Marc Jacobs. The two led the gang who wore a mesh and chains with minders walking down the red carpet to prevent burns as their metal gowns may heat up under the heat of the sun and under the artificial lights.
Canary yellow was also a popular choice of color for dresses during the event. Taylor Schilling of “Orange is The New Black” wore glistening dress while strolling down the red carpet. Meanwhile her co-star, Danielle Brooks, wore a gold and royal blue dress created by Christian Siriano. Heidi Klum who is a regular on the “best dressed” list chose to wear a lemon lace negligee-inspired Versace outfit that won’t pass for the catwalk; her asymmetrical look made her look like a skinned Big Bird of Sesame Street.
The traditional fronton cleavage was replaced by subtle side boob dresses. Lady Gaga wore a black dress designed by Brandon Maxwell and Sarah Hyland from Modern family wore a plum dress from Zac Posen.
Stars who wore Pants on the Emmy’s Red Carpet Event
Some celebrities wore fancy pants to the red carpet during the 67th Emmy Awards.
While many celebrities wore princess-like dresses and mermaid-styled gowns during the red carpet, some popular celebrities paraded their pant suits in the 2015 Emmy Awards night. This fashion style was led by January Jones who wore a jade-colored jumpsuit by Ulyana Sergeenko.
The 15-year old Kiernan Shipka was, for me, one of the best dressed celebrities in trousers at the Emmy’s as she wore an off-shoulder designed by Christian Dior which she paired with a tailored black bottom. Another teen star, Sophie Turner, wore a Galvan ensemble with a high-wasted black slacks and a sapphire bodice. Jane Lynch also joined in as she wore a sophisticated black and white set.
While pantsuits don’t have to men’s fashion, but it doesn’t hurt if they are! To prove a point, Lisa Kudrow wore a velvet tuxedo jacket paired with pressed trouser. Tatiana Maslany, on the other hand, wore an all-white twist on pants paired with a white plunging tuxedo. Meanwhile, Carrie Brownstein brought it home by wearing a simple and impressive classic suit.
