Amazon has recently launched the deals that they will be offering during the Black Friday Sale which will run through the 22nd of December.

They have early deals available which will be regularly updated during the countdown to the week of Black Friday deals. Their upcoming deals include a 30% off the 55-inch Sony 4K Ultra HD TV with a Blu-ray Player and a $170 off the Sony alpha a6000 Mirror-less digital camera. They will also give a 40% discount for the construction toys like the Magformer.

Prime Members

The Amazon Prime Members will be getting their hands on the deal first, as they will be given the chance to buy the items 30 minutes earlier than the regular shopper. Note that registering for prime membership has annual fee of $99.

Retailers on Black Friday Madness

The race is definitely on for the retailers to attract shoppers as the biggest shopping event is happening soon. Just last week, Macy’s announced that some of their stores will open at around 6 in the evening of Thanksgiving Day.

According to the forecast released by Adobe, most shoppers may be skipping the stores this holiday season; online sales are expected to increase by 11% from last year.

Not all retailers will join the race, though. REI announced in October that they won’t be opening their doors to shoppers on Thanksgiving and Black Friday. Instead, they will be paying its employees and they are encouraging their loyal customers to spend quality time with their family and friends outdoors.

Amazon Deals

The recent attempt of Amazon last July for a Black-Friday Style sale has earned some negative comments from unhappy customers who think that it is over-hyped. On July, they conducted a “Prime Day” where they dubbed it as a one-day event with more deals than the Black Friday Sale. Although there were many customer complaints, the company said their order rates have outnumbered that of 2014’s Black Friday.
