 Taken from / By: Google Radio Australia states that the Pacific Islands Applied Geo-science Commission, or SOPAC, says these countries may struggle to get their submissions to the UN. SOPAC says it has limited technical and financial capacity and a lack of external support is impeding the submission process. SOPAC in collaboration with Geo-science Australia and the United Nations - is holding a week-long workshop in Suva to assist to Fiji, Cook Islands, Solomon Islands, Kiribati, Palau, the Federated States of Micronesia, Tonga and Papua New Guinea prepare their claims.
