Dead body of a newborn baby found.

 POLICE are investigating the discovery of the dead body of a newborn baby girl at a settlement on Taveuni.

 The police department says a 48 year old woman discovered the body lying outside her house at about 6am yesterday.

 The body is now in Taveuni Hospital mortuary awaiting a post mortem examination as police continue their search for the mother.
