Beware of con-men warns PMMonday, June 29, 2009
Bainimarama in an interview with FBCL News says that the annual Conference and Solevu has been cancelled - yet is aware that preparations to the annual meet is still encouraged – by church hierarchy’s. The military commander says church members must be aware of certain church ministers and workers who is moving around according to Bainimarama collecting funds for this year’s meeting. Bainimarama is calling on church members to stop the preparation but rather saves money for their families. Bainimarama reiterated that there will be no annual meet for this year. He says members preparing for the Annual meet which was to be held in Lomanikoro – Rewa will be wasting time and money and is also disrespecting the call by the current government in power.
