Naitasiri to meet Nadroga in semi'sMonday, July 27, 2009
Naitasiri Coach Joji Rinakama says that it will be a tough encounter because he guided both teams. .Nadroga is not an easy team to beat as Fiji knows it and I think all the rugby fans knows it and Nadroga and Naitasiri they are both Vanua based teams so it is not easy to go to Nadroga and beat them in their ground .it will be easy only if the boys sacrifice and dedicate themselves in our preparing the game on Saturday. The boys will concentrate on that and it will be easy if they believe in themselves and believe in God that they can win the game . Rinakama says that it was not easy for the Highlanders to reach the semifinal spot as they lost four games earlier in the competition. .it is not easy as we lost four games in the round robin so it is not easy for us to qualify to the semifinal. I am proud of the boys and happy with their family too and we look forward with a clash against Nadroga . Nadroga will host the semifinal at Lawaqa park, while Lautoka hosts the other semifinal next week whereby the venue is yet to be confirmed. In the semifinal stages - the top team in the points table meets the fourth place while the second battles with the third place getter. Lautoka remains at the top of the table with 42 points with Nadroga 41 points in second place, Naitasiri three points behind Nadroga. Northland in forth place with 34 points while Defending Champion Nadi has 32 points and will have to win this week against Ovalau to claim the fourth place in the semifinal.
