The Council of Social Services also welcomes the government’s desire to discuss the issue of Casinos dispassionately. In a statement issued today, the Council of Social Services director Hassan Khan even suggests that while discussing the ideas of Casinos, Government should also consider discussing the sale of marijuana – which it says could provide extra revenue for Fiji. Khan says while Government wishes to discuss the setting up of Casinos without religious, health or criminal fervor – they should also wish to discuss Marijuana production in the same manner.
