 Taken from / By: Google The Minister for Health Doctor Neil Sharma says last year alone, there were 19,000 live births with more than 98% of occurring in hospitals and health facilities. “Our aim has been to ensure that these 19,000 newborns were eclusively breasted for the first 6 months of life and that by their first birthday –they would have been vaccinated against those 9 childhood illiness-in doing so we could then prevent many children from serious illiness like meningitis, pheumonia, hepatitis B and even death.” The development of these babies are closely monitored to ensure that they receive all immunization shots.
