Taken from / By: Google Bainimarama says his government will not accept any briefs from any Forum government or members of the trade ministers meeting. “Fiji has not received any briefing on this discussion and you know as a state party to PACER Fiji was forcibly excluded from this meeting and under the PACER agreement the decisions of this meeting without the participation of commendable; parties is null and void.” Bainimarama maintains Fiji will not bow down to the decisions made at the PACER negations in its absence. “By excluding Fiji from the discussions and decisions of the PACER Plus are in violation of the international law by virtue of not being present in the meeting. Therefore the outcomes of any meeting that Fiji has been forcibly excluded from and we will refuse to be perceive observers of PACER Plus process.” The Forum trade ministers began discussing the PACER PLUS trade agreement in Brisbane two weeks ago.
