Pandemic H1N1 Vaccine

Wednesday, November 11, 2009

According to the World Health Organisation-more than 199 countries have been infected by the Pandemic H1N1 virus.

And even though many countries have stopped counting individual cases the WHO is still actively monitoring the progress of the pandemic.

The second wave of the pandemic H1N1 virus has since been reported in the United States and Mexico in late September.

The WHO has already put measures in place to ensure that there is no further spread of the disease with the introduction of the Pandemic Vaccine.

Health Authorities say Fiji has not reported any case of the second wave of the Pandemic H1N1 virus.

In recent reports the world health organisation has announced that the Pandemic H1N1 flu strain has mutated into its third strain.

The H3N2 flu was first detected in Denmark earlier today.
