Suva successfully defends titleSunday, November 22, 2009
In the boys division, Suva bagged 20 gold, 7 silver and 4 bronze while the girls managed 16 gold, 6 silver and 10 bronze. It was a clean sweep in the girls division in all grades from the U9 –U14. Suva Primary Schools Athletics Association Vice President, Jiuta Wainibuli says they are happy with the victory. “The hard work by the teachers, coaches and parents and of course the athletes who represented Suva has finally paid off and I must thank everyone who assisted us through our preparations throughout the year.
