NZ uproar over moves to FijiSunday, November 22, 2009
Trade unions, politicians and the New Zealand public have been expressing their dismay at Griffin’s moves to take the production of the nation’s favorite biscuits to Fiji. Their main concern, being the job losses and the lost revenue for the New Zealand government. Griffin’s is not the only Kiwi institution that has outsourced to other countries – Cadbury’s chocolate has outsourced to Thailand and Australia.
