Acting Fiji Rugby Union Chief Executive Officer, Keni Dakuidreketi says- sacked National XV’s Coach, Ilivasi Tabua should be blamed following the two losses to Scotland and Ireland.

Losing two test matches was rather disappointing says the Acting Fiji Rugby Union Chief Executive Officer, Keni Dakuidreketi.

Fiji lost both test matches, a 10-23 lost to Scotland , before the 6-41 thrashing to xi nations champions, Ireland yesterday.

Dakuidreketi says- sacked National XV’s Coach Ilivasi Tabua should be blamed fingers following Fiji’s 6-41 loss to Ireland in their one off test match at the Royal Dublin Showgrounds yesterday.

Dakuidreketi says- Tabua must be blamed for the loss after failing to prepare a development front row program since 2007.

“As far as Ilivasi’s comments, it is unfortunate that Ilivasi is now putting the blame on anybody else. I mean the question should be tossed back to him , what preparations has he ever done since 2007 to prepare the prop forwards for this country.I can’t remember a point where he actually put together a program for props in this country.”

“So, it’s no point blaming each other now, all they need to do is focus for the future. But it is unfortunate that Ilivasi has started throwing blames now, it’s the same team which he developed that was pushed around by Japan so he can’t blame anybody but look at what he has done since 2007.”

Dakuidreketi says- it was rather disappointing to see Fiji lose the two test matches to Scotland and Ireland.

The Flying Fijians will now prepare for their final match against Romania this Sunday.
