Board meet to enhance roleWednesday, November 25, 2009
The members of the three Provincial Development Boards are now learning about the role they will play when the Boards starts work in Janauary, 2010. The three boards which consist of the Fijian and multi Ethnic members will sit together for the first time. With the reforms being carried out by Government all communities will now have the one voice in the form of the Provincial Development Board. Whatever is decided upon by the three Provincial Development Boards in the North and others will from 2010 go to the Divisional Development Board which can now decide on any project of 100,000 dollars or less efficiently.
