The engineers were carrying out upgrade works near the Naulu junction when the air valve burst. Water Authority of Fiji spokesperson Maika Nagalu says repair works is expected to be completed by 8pm tonight. Engineers have also stopped water supply to certain parts of Rakiraki to allow them to carry out urgent repair works. Nagalu says the water cut in Rakiraki is expected to end by 7pm this evening.
