Friendly North Festival preparations on trackMonday, July 19, 2010
Publicity Officer Roshan Lal says 6 Queens and 4 King contestants have confirmed their participation. Funds raised from the festival will be used for landmark projects. “This year we have been requested by the commissioner northern to construct a podium at the botanical garden opposite the courthouse because there is no place in Labasa for people to host expos and other gatherings. We intend to use the balance of funds towards the continuous upgrade for the Children’s Park in Labasa.” The festival will be held from the 28th of august to the 4th of September. |
