 Taken from / By: Fiji Broadcasting Corporation In a response to a claim by Interim Finance Minister Mahendra Chaudhry that the media is divisive and racist Rabuka says the same was evident during his term in government. In 87 a lot indigenous nationalists saw the media as being racist because they were saying things against ethno nationalism - against the Taukei Movement and the principals they stood by and now for Chaudhry an Indian to be saying that the media is racist - I cannot identify which race the media now is promoting.
